Funding periods are: 1 September – 31 December; 1 January – 31 March; 1 April – 31 August.
Expanded 2-year old funding is applied for the period following a child’s 2nd birthday. 3- and 4-year old funding is applied for the period following a child’s 3rd birthday and finishes at the end of the period in which they turn 5.
All year-round provision – a maximum of 30 funded hours is claimed for over 38 weeks for eligible children in Nursery.
Term-time provision – a maximum of 30 funded hours is claimed for over 33 weeks for eligible children in Nursery.
Cricklade Manor Prep is registered with Wiltshire Council to apply the Early Years Free Entitlement funding to all 3 to 5 year olds attending Nursery classes at the school. The universal 15 hours funding per week is available, plus a further 15 hours if parents are eligible.
Once a child transfers to Reception, the funding reverts to the universal 15 hours for eligible pupils. This entitlement is subject to change and is outside the control of the school.
