My sword-fencing adventure to Poland!
Challenge Wratislavia is an International Fencing competition in Wroclaw, Poland for children under U11 to U15 from all around the world. This year almost 3000 children took part, travelling from the USA, India, Egypt, Israel, Hungary and many more countries........
This was my very first International competition and only my second time abroad so I couldn't have been more excited!!

This is why CMP have created their inspirational Cricklade Award, a specifically tailored programme to provide enriching experiences and invaluable life skills to our Year 6 children.

CRICKLADE MANOR NURSERY: A Very Special Learning Environment

First off, I should make it clear that Cricklade Manor Nursery is not your average Nursery. Like the school in which it sits, the Nursery has opportunity at its core. And so along with the everyday fun and nurture you would expect, children here enjoy Forest School, and sport sessions, with the school’s specalist PE staff, with use of the school’s huge Sports Hall.

In a world that is constantly evolving, education too must adapt to meet the changing needs of our children. As we step into a new academic year, we are thrilled to introduce an exciting and innovative initiative that promises to revolutionise the way our children learn – the integration of modern technology into the classroom. This year marks the first year of rolling out 1-to-1 Surface Go devices for Year 4 pupils in the classroom, and we couldn't be more excited about the benefits it holds for our young learners.

At Cricklade Manor Prep we ensure that our children are well prepared for the 11+, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to compete on a level playing field with their peers. We provide all our children with a strong foundation to enhance their educational and personal growth.  

The school came together to celebrate the historical event of the coronation of King Charles III. Children, teachers, and staff members had the opportunity to dress in a style which they felt represented their ethnicity

The school grounds were filled with laughter and joy as our pre-prep pupils hosted a beautiful afternoon tea for their beloved grandparents.

We are thrilled to share with you our school trip to Amsterdam! It was an incredible, adventure-filled tour with new experiences and exciting opportunities. Our journey began with a flight to the city, which was an exciting and memorable experience for many of us. We were all looking forward to exploring the vibrant and bustling city of Amsterdam.

This year was extra special with a giant nest appearing in the playground, materialising out of thin air! With a mystery on our hands, it was down to the children to solve the case.

A competition was set for our Yr 5 & 6 pupils, by our Head of English Miss Williams, to write a report about this year's World Book Day.

Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week was an opportunity for the school to raise important issues with the pupils regarding ways to support and protect their mental health, signposting them to where they can receive help in school.
