Joining Cricklade Manor Nursery

We are delighted you are thinking about Cricklade Manor Nursery for your child. The joining process is very straightforward.

When you contact us, either by telephone or email, we will invite the whole family in for a a tour of the Nursery, and a meeting with the Head.

Next we will invite you to a Stay & Play session with your child. We will give you the Nursery – All About Me booklet which you can complete in advance of your visit with details of your child’s likes, dislikes, habits and abilities. During the Stay & Play session, you will have time to go through all this and anything else you wish to discuss with the Nursery Class or Pre-School Class teacher. At the point you are comfortable to do so, you will be able to leave your child for an hour or so, allowing them to spend time with the other children and becoming familiar with the Nursery environment.

Starting at Nursery is a big step for children and their parents, but it doesn’t have to be a worrying time. Read our advice on how you can help your child prepare for and settle into Nursery.

Following the Stay & Play session, if you wish to proceed and we are confident that we can give your child the provision and support he or she requires, we will give you:

• An offer letter
• A registration form – to be completed and returned with a £50 registration fee
• An acceptance form – to be completed and returned with a £500 refundable deposit
• A copy of the Terms & Conditions – to read and keep
• Nursery Attendance form – to be completed and returned with your preferred choice of attendance

If your child is coming from another Nursery, we will ask for a copy of his or her Nursery Progress Report
