Cheltenham College Leadership Challenge Day
A group of enthusiastic Year 5 pupils from Cricklade Manor Prep had an unforgettable time at this year’s Cheltenham College Leadership Challenge Day on Monday 12th May.
The event brought together 9 school teams to tackle a series of fun and fast-paced activities, each designed to put their problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills to the test. From launching ‘grenades’ into buckets while blindfolded to catching shuttlecocks in head-mounted buckets, the challenges were as hilarious as they were engaging.

Other activities included high-speed pattern communication, giant snap puzzles, and observation tests based on short film clips. Spirits were high throughout the day, and the children threw themselves into each task with energy and determination.

We are incredibly proud to share that our team placed second overall, earning silver medals – a brilliant achievement!
It was a day full of laughter, learning, and leadership, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s challenge.
