Year 6 Cricklade Award: Waterland
As part of the Cricklade Award, Year 6 children attended a wonderful afternoon at Waterland, Lake 32.
Even though it had been raining all week, the sun shone and everyone had a fantastic time. The children were split into two groups, with one group raft building and the other kayaking.
There was some splendid knot tying and to everyone’s relief, the raft was launched and managed to float without sinking! The children on the kayaks also had a great time and Mrs Bunn was amazed at how quickly they became proficient. It was a great afternoon which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
