This trip falls in line with the Y3 class topic ‘The Stone Age’. During this trip, pupils will be able to look at original artefacts first hand dating back to the Palaeolithic era right up until the Neolithic era. Whilst visiting the stone circles, children will use their questioning skills regarding what the significance of these stones were and how they were transported.
