A fun and challenging experience for 3 of our Year 6 pupils! The day will begin with Registration at 10.30am followed by a Workshop Session
A fun and challenging experience for 3 of our Year 6 pupils! The day will begin with Registration at 10.30am followed by a Workshop Session on a series of subjects such as: “Speaking impromptu, good voice projection, how to construct an argument, how to make a point effectively and the format of formal debating.” The teams will then have lunch, followed by a preparation period for the main debating session which will take place in the afternoon. The day will end at around 3.00pm.
Parents are welcome to come and listen to the afternoon debate and have tea, but please do let The Oratory know.

We would be delighted if you could get creative by helping your child to make their bonnet at home. Your creations can be as simple or as elaborate as you wish! The only requirement is that they can stay on the child’s head to walk up and down the length of the school hall. Please send your child to school with their bonnet on the morning of the parade.
You are invited to join us for the parade which will start at 2:45pm in the school hall. Tea and coffee will be available in the atrium from 2:30.  Can we ask you not to park at the front of the school but to use the spaces at the Rugby club and by the sports hall.
